    After successfully completing sixth form, Andrew initiated his professional journey with Clifton Suits through a year-long apprenticeship in 2012. Eager to broaden his expertise, he not only absorbed knowledge about the industry but also proactively cultivated skills in garment alterations and construction. Recognising his dedication and proficiency, Andrew earned a promotion to the position of shop manager in 2014.

    In a recent development, the reins of Clifton Suits now rest in the capable hands of Andrew Webber, a proud Bristolian. Andrew's profound appreciation for the local culture is evident in how he seamlessly integrates the essence of the city into the Clifton Suits experience. Under his stewardship, Clifton Suits continues to flourish as a beacon of sartorial excellence, reflecting both tradition and innovation.

    Store Manager

    Owen, hailing from the South West, brings a wealth of experience in business and management, supported by his degree from Royal Holloway. He is deeply committed to empowering our talented team at Clifton Suits, focusing on providing them with the resources and support needed to deliver the exceptional craftsmanship and personalised service that define our brand. Passionate about quality, Owen ensures that every client interaction reflects our dedication to excellence, helping create garments that capture the style and significance of each unique occasion.

    Head Tailor

    Emma embarked on her journey as a tailor following her graduation from London College of Fashion in 2014, where she earned a distinguished BA (Hons) degree in bespoke tailoring. To further hone her skills, she immersed herself in the craft, learning from industry professionals and taking on challenging freelance projects. Boasting expertise in the meticulous construction of high-quality tailored garments and offering insightful menswear consultancy, Emma became a valued member of the Clifton Suits team in 2019. Today, she finds fulfillment in crafting bespoke commissions and executing precise alterations, contributing her refined skill set to the artistry of the team.

    Bespoke Advisor

    With a remarkable career spanning over four decades, John has accumulated invaluable expertise in the industry, with 18 years dedicated to refining his craft at Clifton Suits. His passion for formal attire has been a driving force throughout his journey. Commencing his career in high fashion, John seamlessly transitioned to the esteemed Leeds-based suit manufacturer, Centaur Clothes, where he quickly ascended to specialize in bespoke tailoring. His commitment to excellence led him to undergo training in the prestigious fashion hubs of London, Leeds, and Paris.

    Tailoring Advisor

    Upon attaining a BA (Hons) in Drama from Gloucester University, Robson delved into the world of antiques and vintage wear. Driven by a profound passion for clothing, he found his way to Clifton Suits in 2022. Robson's keen interest in men's tailoring equips him with the expertise to guide our clients in selecting the perfect garments and accessories that complement their individual style.

    Style Advisor

    Molly brings a wealth of creativity and expertise to her role as a Style Advisor, with a background rooted in theatre and costume design. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Middlesex University and has honed her skills working in prestigious theatre companies such as Bristol Old Vic, Royal & Derngate in Northampton, and The Watermill. Her experience in wardrobe has equipped her with an eye for detail, ensuring each client she advises receives personalised, thoughtful style recommendations tailored to their unique needs.

    Following his studies and professional experience in Wokingham, Matt made the strategic move to Bristol, where he has since cultivated a diverse background in client relations across various sectors. In 2022, he seamlessly integrated into our team, assuming a pivotal role in managing the administrative aspects of our business and fostering meaningful connections with our clientele.

    Mae Bradford is a talented and ambitious textile artist, having completed sixth form with three A-Levels and an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Known for her creativity, Mae excels in various textile mediums, particularly crochet, and successfully sells her unique creations on Etsy. With a passionate desire to immerse herself in the art of tailoring, she is eager to learn and embark on a rewarding career in this field. Mae’s enthusiasm and dedication to her craft make her a valuable asset to our team.

    Katie is a valuable member of our team, contributing her skills while pursuing her studies at Bath College, where she is currently enrolled in a Level 3 Fashion & Textiles program. She completed her earlier education at Bristol Brunel Academy and is proudly from Bristol. Katie’s passion for fashion and textiles, combined with her education and dedication, makes her an asset to our team.

    Greg Williams Takes Ownership

    Marking a significant chapter in the business’ history. Greg's passion for sartorial excellence and commitment to exceptional service led him to become the proud owner of Clifton Suits. Despite commuting daily from his hometown of Caerphilly, Greg continued to infuse the establishment with his wealth of experience, ensuring that clients received nothing short of his outstanding service.

    In a strategic move to broaden our business horizons, we transitioned from our previous location on Whiteladies Road to the vibrant thoroughfare of Queens Road.

    Opened Cardiff Store

    Greg expanded the business by opening a store in his homeland, nestled on the bustling thoroughfare of St. Mary's Street.

    Cardiff Store Closed

    Regrettably, after several years, Greg made the difficult decision to shutter the Cardiff store and redirect his full attention to the thriving Bristol location.

    Moved to Triangle West

    It was time for a fresh start, and we relocated to our current location—a destination perfectly situated for both local Bristolians and visitors from afar to experience our offerings firsthand.

    Shop refurbishment

    Greg made an important investment in the business, undertaking a comprehensive shop refurbishment that seamlessly blended the timeless artistry of traditional tailoring with the contemporary demands of the modern world.

    Shop Expansion

    In February of this year, we took the bold step of expanding our premises into the adjacent space, unveiling a dedicated area for our bespoke services within the shop and crafting a brand new tailor's room to further enhance our offerings.
